Dictionary. Grammar. The ethnic Muisca survived through the extinction of their language to the present day. In 1988 they began to push for more recognition and the revitalization of their language and culture. Chibcha is taught to about 150 children in one public school named Jizcamox, which means ‘healing with the hands’.
