Some young people don’t use the full spectrum of Pattani Malay [mfa] vocabulary anymore that their grandparents and parents use. However, young people can undertand Pattani Malay [mfa]. Young people use more Thai [tha] now in their daily life especially in primary school. Used by all. Most also use Thai [tha]. Used as L2 by Jehai [jhi].
