I don't know for sure that it isn't simply a misspelling, but it is the spelling used, for example, in Loney Planet's Central Asia Phrasebook.

Editorial Action

We will add this alternate name for Burushaski [bsk] in Pakistan, for inclusion in the next edition of the Ethnologue.
