ISO 639-3:
qvmEthnologue has it all wrong in the Ap-am-ah subgroup of Central Quechua. You only have to look at the map of Peru to see how the subgroup should be presented:
Ap = Alto Pativilca should include Chiquián [qxa] and Cajatambo North Lima [qvl]
am = Alto Marañón should include Margos-Yarovilca-Lauricocha [qvm] and Huamalíes-Dos de Mayo Huanuco [qvh]
ah = Alto Huallaga should include Ambo-Pasco [qva], Huallaga [qub], and Panao [qxh]
Editorial Action
We will re-classify the languages in the Ethnologue within the Ap-am-ah subgrouping of Central Quechua, for inclusion in the next edition of the Ethnologue.
