Río Paraguá?
PrintRío Paraguá?
It seems strange that the location in Brazil is saying :
- Roraima state: Mucajaí, Paragua, Roraima, and upper Uraricaá rivers.
Because according to what I could find, there is a rio Paraguá in Bolivia (obviously not the one cited here), and the Venezuelian río Paraguá starts in Venezuela and flows north, without entering Brazil (see https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2634262#map=7/4.816/-62.853)
Also, while the Mucajaí and Uraricaá are indeed rivers, Roraima doesn't seem to be one, but is rather the state (the name isn't even related to rivers or water, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roraima#Etymology).
The only other name I could find was Mount Roraima, but it is a high plateau/tepuy, so it seems unlikely that people live there.
We will update and correct the region/location for Ninam [shb] in Brazil.

Dear Olivier,
Thank you for pointing out the discrepancies and errors in the location of Ninam [shb] in Brazil.
The Paragua river is obviously referencing the river in Venezuela, not the one in Brazil.
The Roraima river does not exist. I took a look at the history of this particular entry and saw that Roraima (the state where the language is spoken) was somehow put in as a river name.
The Uraricaá river is misspelled; it should be the Uraricoera river.
Finally, the Mucajaí river is an actual river in Roraima state.
We will make corrections to this entry in the Ethnologue.

"The Uraricaá river is misspelled; it should be the Uraricoera river"
Be careful because both exist :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urarica%C3%A1_River
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uraricoera_River
They are very close one to another, on this map, the first one is flowing from the northwest to the center on the map, while the second crosses it from west ot east, about 8-10km south of the first one:

Thank you for this corrective information.
