According to the dictionary, produced by the linguist Henri Ramirez. The correct spelling is Húpd'äh not Hupdë.

Editorial Action

We will add an alternate name, Húpd'äh, for Hupdë [jup] in Brazil, for inclusion in the next edition of the Ethnologue.

Thank you for this information on the spelling of Hupdë [jup] in Brazil.

This language is also spelled differently by other linguists (Hup, Hupda, Jupda, Hupdu, etc.). I will add Húpd'äh as an alternate name for Hupdë in Brazil.
