Karo people are not indigenous in some regencies mentioned such as Aceh Selatan, Aceh Singkil and Subulusalam. Some Karo villages exist at the border with Aceh Tenggara Regency.

Editorial Action

We will update the location of Batak Karo [btx] in Indonesia, for inclusion in the next edition of the Ethnologue.
