Editorial Action

All L2 speaker populations from the 2021 Canadian census will be entered, the L1 populations having already been entered a few months ago, all of these to be included in the next edition of the Ethnologue.

Antoine,

We currently have 1,150 speakers for Inuinnaqtun [ikt], which is the result of adding Inuinnaqtun and Inuvialuktun together (https://www12.statcan.gc.ca/census-recensement/2016/dp-pd/hlt-fst/lang/T...).

I don't understand. The link you sent is the 2016 census. The one I sent is the 2021 census. And https://www.ethnologue.com/language/ikt says "1,020 (2016 census)."
