Dear Carlos,

Thank you for this information on the Mexican government's recognition of 68 languages in Mexico.

Ethnologue stipulates that any "recognized language" law recognize the right of the named language to be used and developed for some purposes and that the language must be specifically named in the law and it should match just one language in the Ethnologue.
