Enets speaker and ethnic population in the 2021 census

The 2021 census registered 97 speakers of the Enets language and 203 ethnic Enets in the Russian Federation. The census draws no distinction between the two subgroups and lumps them all in one.

Dear Aleksandr,

Thank you for all the information that you have given us concerning the 2020 Russian census reports.

We have already entered nearly all of this information that you are offering us from the census into the Ethnologue database. It will ALL be in the next edition of the Ethnologue, coming out in about 2 weeks.
