Yukaghir speaker and ethnic population in the 2021 census

The 2021 census registered 359 Yukaghir speakers and 1,813 ethnic Yukaghirs in the Russian Federation.  The census does not distinguish between Northern and Southern Yukaghirs and lumps them all in one.

Thank you for all the information that you have given us concerning the 2020 Russian census reports.

We have already entered all of this information that you are offering us from the census into the Ethnologue database. It will all be in the next edition of the Ethnologue, coming out in about one week from now.
