BahrainFrom what I understand from this source ( https://www.jstor.org/stable/43530422 ) and especially the map p. 10, the Gulf dialect is limited to the Sunni neighborhoods of Manama, and not the whole city as currently shown. So to simplify: west Manama = Shia = Baharna [abv] and east Manama = Sunni = Gulf [afb]
It would be worth mentioning in "Other comments" the affiliation (Shia vs Sunni) after "Muslim".
Editorial Action
We will update the religions listed for Gulf Spoken Arabic [afb] in Bahrain, for inclusion in the next edition of the Ethnologue.
