Some of all ages. Also use Agatu [agc], by those in Benue state (Ushu-Olugwa), who are shifting to Agatu (Decker et al 2021c). Also use Hausa [hau], especially in the north (Decker et al 2021c).

Language Development

English [eng] is the language of education and churches. Young people have more literacy than older adults. In Benue State, some are literate in Agatu [agc].
