High degree of multilingualism among the Elip (2014 SIL). Positive attitudes. Most also use French [fra]. Also use Bulu [bum], especially in the Presbyterian Church. Also use Ewondo [ewo], especially in the Catholic Church. Also use Mmaala [mmu]. Also use Yangben [yav]. Used as L2 by Mmaala [mmu].
