West New Britain province: northwest coast. 24 villages, most on small coastal islands.

Language Use

Some young people, all adults. Mixed attitudes, from negative to neutral. All also use Tok Pisin [tpi], especially young people and adults (Sato 2013). Some also use English [eng] (Sato 2013). Used as L2 by Anem [anz], Bariai [bch], Lusi [khl].

Writing

Latin script [Latn].
