Only about 25 speakers, all older adults, use Matukar Panau [mjk] regularly; all other speakers primarily use Tok Pisin [tpi] (Barth et al 2020). Adults only. All shifting to Tok Pisin [tpi] (Barth et al 2020). Some also use Awad Bing [bcu] (Barth et al 2020). Some also use Bargam [mlp] (Barth et al 2020). Some also use English [eng] (Barth et al 2020). Some also use Gedaged [gdd] (Barth et al 2020). Some also use Manam [mva] (Barth et al 2020). Some also use Takia [tbc] (Barth et al 2020). Some also use Waskia [wsk] (Barth et al 2020). Some also use Yoidik [ydk] (Barth et al 2020). Used as L2 by Bargam [mlp].
