Language Use

In two villages, children learn Tok Pisin [tpi] first, and in two other villages, the children learn Nomu [noh] first. In one village, the children learn both Nomu [noh] and Tok Pisin [tpi] at the same time and mix it with both (2000 SIL). Some young people, all adults. All also use Tok Pisin [tpi]. Some also use Ono [ons], especially older adults.
