dkkDialectology
Even though the area in which Dakka is spoken is tiny, the language has four dialects: Dakka-Pelitakan, Limboro, Lengngo, and Tonrolima. We only surveyed the first one.
Dakka-Pelitakan and Limboro are the prestige dialects.
Limboro is very close to Dakka-Pelitakan.
The people speaking Dakka-Pelitakan find the Lengngo dialect difficult to understand.
