Update Egids Scale
Hello,
for years Adyghe has been discussed as an endangered language that, although used in TV, print media, and ocassionally online has seen rapid decline and is usually not transmitted to children even in villages. I propose adding the Egids scale of '7, Shifting'. The legal provincial status of the language says nothing of its actual use. This or next year there will be new research casting more light onto the current situation, underlining my evaluation.

Adyghe features the UNESCO list of endangered languages (the original PDF is not accessible anymore, though) [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adyghe_language#UNESCO_2009_map_of_endange...

We will update the EGIDS and vitality information in general for Adyghe [ady] in Russian Federation, for inclusion in the next edition of the Ethnologue.
