Dialects

None known. Related to Asaro’o [mtv], Muratayak [asx], Gamane [bmp], Degenang [dge], Guya [gka], Gwahatike [dah], and Tandɨ [ygm].

Language Use

Children grow up learning Tok Pisin [tpi] and Forak [frq] at the same time, but mainly use Tok Pisin [tpi] when they’re younger. As they get older, they use Forak [frq] as their main language. Some young people, all adults. All also use Tok Pisin [tpi]. Some also use Muratayak [asx]. Also use Asaro’o [mtv].
