Delete Awankari and Sohain (Sawain)
Awankari is dialect of Hinko Southern. See. https://glottolog.org/resource/languoid/id/avan1234 So Talagang (Awankari) and Sohain (Sawain) be deleted from here.
We will remove dialect names Avankari (Talagang) and Sohain (Sawain) from Western Punjabi, and add them to Southern Hindko [hnd] in Pakistan, all to be included in the next edition of the Ethnologue.
Geographical boundary of Awankari Dialect of Punjabi
Awankari is a dilect of Punjabi Which is primarily spoken in Soon Valley of District Khushab. The name awankari is derived from the dominant caste of the area. The dialect of Soon Valley is different from the thalochi dialect and other dialects of District Khushab. It is also spoke in Tehsil Talagang of district Chakwal but the hub of the Awankari is Soon Valley of District Khushab.
We will make Awankari the name for this dialect, adding the location information in the unpublished comment, for Western Punjabi [pnb] in Pakistan; to be included in the next edition of the Ethnologue.
