Location

Far North region: Logone-and-Chari division, extreme south Logone-Birni subdivision, Majera area.

Language Status

6b (Threatened).

Dialects

Majera (Mazra), Kajire-’dulo, Hwalem (Holom).

Language Use

In rapid decline (Tourneux 2004). Some young people, all adults. Some also use French [fra], as language of public education.

Other Comments

Included in what the Mandage call Mida’a and Da’a. Muslim.
