Scattered. Arua, Bombo, Koboko, Kumi, Luwero, Ngora, and Yumbe districts: generally in larger population areas.

Home. Some young people, all adults. Mixed attitudes, from positive to neutral, especially among youth. Most also use English [eng]. Most also use Ganda [lug]. Many also use Swahili [swh]. Used as L2 by Alur [alz], Aringa [luc], Kakwa [keo], Kuku [ukv], Lugbara [lgg], Ma’di [mhi].

Other Comments

Came from (South) Sudan and originally settled in Entebbe, then moved to the newly created barrack town of Bombo, but have now dispersed. Muslim.
