Dialects

Dialects of Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Uganda differ little (Nida 1972). Very different from other Eastern Nilotic languages of Uganda. Lexical similarity: close with Bari [bfa].

Home, market. Positive attitudes. Many also use English [eng]. Many also use Kuku [ukv]. Many also use Lugbara [lgg]. Also use Nubi [kcn] (Nakao 2018).
